Taiwan creator finds a home in Xiamen with short dramas

Chiang Kuo-ming, a short-drama creator from Tainan, Taiwan, has chosen Xiamen in Fujian province as the place to pursue his dream. Surrounded by familiar Hokkien dialect and food he enjoys, he says Xiamen feels just like home.
The Chinese mainland has rolled out 10 new policies and measures on cross-Strait exchanges, allowing Taiwan professionals to participate in micro-short drama production here. Chiang has teamed up with partners from the mainland to create AI-powered animated short dramas rooted in Chinese folk culture.
