Diplomats on the Long March: World needs this determination

"With enough determination, nothing's impossible." On Oct 26, envoys and diplomats from 106 embassies and five international organizations in China visited an exhibition in Beijing marking the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Long March by the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.

Despite scarce resources and formidable obstacles, the Red Army pressed on. Reflecting on the sacrifices made along the way and on China's development today, the diplomats spoke of the power of perseverance. Ninety years on, the world still needs that determination and countries must work together to face shared challenges.
