How China's innovation fuels global progress

In a recent interview with China Daily's Global Lens, Fabien Pacory, executive vice-president of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, noted that many foreign buyers and purchase managers once came to the Canton Fair mainly to source affordable and simple products. Today, however, an increasing number of innovative and technology-driven products are on display.

"China is not just a simple manufacturer of the world; it's a real provider of innovative and transformative solutions," he said. "China is providing a full ecosystem of different products."

Pacory emphasized the long-standing ties between France and China, and expressed hope that both countries would deepen their cooperation in high-tech research across various fields.
