Award-winning pianist Chen Junyan reflected on the power of music to cross cultural boundaries — and how meaningful cultural exchange begins with listening.
"I don't feel that my job is to choose between those two worlds," said Chen at China Daily's Vision China event, themed "Listen to Each Other, Open New Horizons", in London on Thursday.
"My job is to create something from the space between and beyond them," she added.
