On August 15, China marks National Ecology Day, a moment to reflect on our relationship with the natural world.

When we imagine tea production, most of us picture neat, low-lying terraces sculpted across hillside plantations. But deep along the historic Tea Horse Road on Yunnan's Jingmai Mountain, a very different story unfolds. Here, ancient tea trees thrive high beneath the natural forest canopy, surrounded by a rich, self-sustaining ecosystem.

In this video, we explore how traditional agroforestry and a light human touch preserve not just wild tea, but a timeless Chinese philosophy: The seamless harmony between humanity and nature.
