China and Canada resume military talks after eight years

The fifth China-Canada Defense Coordination Dialogue was held in Canada on Friday, marking the resumption of military talks between the two countries after eight years.
According to China's Ministry of National Defense, both sides engaged in candid and in-depth discussions on regional and global issues of mutual concern, expressed a positive willingness to strengthen practical exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries, and enhanced mutual understanding and trust.
