Unitree Robotics to debut on STAR market, focusing on humanoid and quadruped robots

Unitree Robotics Co Ltd will start its official initial public offering (IPO) on the Science and Technology Innovation Board (STAR Market) of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on August 19, according to an announcement late on Monday.
Proceeds from the IPO will fund four core projects: intelligent robot model research and development, robot prototype development, new intelligent robot product innovation, and the construction of an intelligent robot manufacturing base.
All investment projects align closely with Unitree's core business strategy, supporting the company's continuous technological innovation capability expansion and scaled manufacturing upgrade for embodied intelligent robots.
As a globally renowned and leading developer of high-performance general-purpose robots, Unitree Robotics specializes in the research and development, production, and sales of high-performance general-purpose humanoid robots, quadruped robots, robotic components, and embodied intelligence models. It is one of the world's few robotics enterprises that has achieved large-scale profitability.
In 2025, the company shipped more than 5,500 pure humanoid robots, excluding wheeled dual-arm robots, ranking first globally in humanoid robot delivery volume.
The company's IPO subscription received strong market enthusiasm. Following the activation of the share allocation callback mechanism, the final online offering volume reached 9.707 million shares, with a final online winning lottery rate of approximately 0.018 percent.
In terms of offline subscription data, all 11,052 valid bidding accounts managed by 313 institutional investors completed compliant offline subscriptions, registering a total valid offline subscription volume of 67.78 billion shares.
For strategic placement, Unitree locked in a total strategic allotment of 8.089 million shares. Social security funds became the largest strategic investor in the IPO. The subscriber list also included state-owned industrial capital institutions such as China National Petroleum Kunlun Capital, China Southern Power Grid Industrial Finance Holdings, and China Telecom Capital Holdings.
After the offering, Unitree's total share capital will stand at 404.46 million shares. A total of 30.09 million unrestricted tradable shares will be available for trading at the initial listing stage, accounting for 7.44 percent of the total post-listing share capital.
The IPO offering price was set at 150.80 yuan per share, with a total offering size of 40.45 million shares, representing 10 percent of the company's total post-listing equity capital. Based on the offering price, the company will raise a total of 6.10 billion yuan, with an initial market capitalization of approximately 60.99 billion yuan upon listing.
