Japan urged to face the facts of Nanjing Massacre

Kumiko Haba, distinguished professor at Josai International University, has urged Japan to confront the facts of the Nanjing Massacre and its wartime history of aggression. Haba criticized a proposal to rebrand references to the "Nanjing Massacre" as the "Nanjing Incident" at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, arguing that such terminology "simply does not reflect the facts". As the daughter of an atomic‑bomb survivor, Haba expressed deep distress over the move.
