Qiongkushitai village, Ili, Xinjiang

Nestled in Tekes county, Ili, Xinjiang, Qiongkushitai village marks the northern gateway to the Wusun Ancient Trail. Recognized as one of China's Historical and Cultural Villages in 2010, it is surrounded by the majestic Tianshan Mountains, where alpine meadows and pine forests frame more than 40 century-old log houses.
