China-Europe diplomats' sports festival held in Beijing
The 2nd China-Europe Sports Day & Diplomats Sports Festival was held at the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports in Beijing on Saturday.
European diplomats, along with participants from the General Administration of Sport of China and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held friendly contests in tennis, table tennis and seven-a-side football. Participants were also offered the chance to try out other sports, as well as traditional Chinese culture activities, over the course of the day.
The event was hosted by the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and the External Affairs Department of the General Administration of Sport of China, and organized by the Office of Secretariat of China-CEEC Cooperation, the International Sports Exchange Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, Capital University of Physical Education and Sports, the Chinese Tennis Association and the Chinese Table Tennis Association.
