Funeral for Iran's late supreme leader Ali Khamenei to begin on July 4 in Tehran

TEHRAN -- The funeral for Iran's late supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is scheduled to begin in the capital Tehran on July 4, Iran's state media reported on Saturday.
The burial is set to be held in the northeastern city of Mashhad on July 9.
The long-serving supreme leader of Iran was killed in a joint US-Israeli airstrike on Feb 28.
