What does it feel like to practice yoga on the Great Wall? Recently, China Daily reporter visited the Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall in Beijing, where more than 2,000 yogis from around the world gathered for a unique experience.

Joined by Chinese figure skater Zhu Yi and lululemon ambassadors, participants practiced yoga at one of the world's most iconic cultural landmarks. Known for its rare sections of wall that descend into the water, Huanghuacheng offers a remarkable setting where history and nature meet. The event was designed with a strong commitment to heritage preservation. All facilities were removable and left no trace on the site.

When yoga meets the Great Wall, movement becomes a bridge between cultures, and ancient heritage finds new ways to inspire people from around the world.
