Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, is one of China's Four Great Towers, celebrated through the Preface to Tengwang Pavilion by renowned 7th-century poet Wang Bo. The current structure, rebuilt in 1989 on its original site, preserves the grandeur of Tang Dynasty (618-907) architecture with soaring eaves, green tiles and ornate carvings. Overlooking the Ganjiang River, it remains a timeless symbol of Chinese literary heritage and cultural pride.
