A video featuring two tigers at the Locajoy Theme Park in Chongqing's Yongchuan district has recently gone viral, capturing the hearts of social media users with their endearing and contrasting personalities. Affectionately nicknamed the "Dopey and Grumpy", the duo has become an internet sensation.
The video, taken by a visitor, shows the majestic pair lounging on the grass next to each other, basking in the sun. Their expressions — one appearing absent-minded and the other unhappy — have quickly endeared them to both visitors and netizens.
The playful comparison draws on a classic Chinese children's story, Dopey and Grumpy, which was adapted to a short animation and released in 1962. The story features characters, one known for forgetfulness and another for perpetual dissatisfaction, that perfectly encapsulate the tigers' contrasting yet lovable traits.
The duo has also been humorously likened to a "Pro Max version of cats" due to their charmingly quirky demeanor.
