Economist Chen Wenling: Stability in China-US ties breeds prosperity

"When China-US relations are stable, the world is stable. When China and the US live in harmony, the world prospers," Chen Wenling, an economist, said in a recent interview with China Daily.

She added that, as two major economies shaping the global landscape, China and the US have different development paths and political systems, yet share significant responsibilities for the world.

"The two countries need to follow the consensus reached by their leaders and genuinely work toward building a constructive and strategically stable relationship," she said.
