The Adora Magic City, the first Chinese-made large cruise ship, departed on Thursday from an international cruise port in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, marking its first international cruise operation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
With nearly 4,600 guests aboard for a five-day, four-night itinerary, the ship, operated by Adora Cruises, headed for Hue (Chan May), Vietnam.
The Shenzhen season runs through Sept 16, with multiple cruises to ports in Vietnam and South Korea. The ship will offer an overnight and eight-night mid-length cruise call at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia; Muara, Brunei; and Nha Trang, Vietnam, in late August.
