In operation since Jan 2, 2001, the Xiamen-Jinmen ferry route has taken over 23 million passenger trips between two places. Known for its half-hour sailing journey, frequent departures, affordability, and intelligent customs clearance, it is also called the "marine shuttle" and serves as a vital, convenient link between the two sides.
